2018 Boston Marathon Registration is now CLOSED

Registration for the 2018 Boston Marathon began on September 11, and the maximum number of athletes who qualified and applied for entry has now been reached. The Boston Marathon does not have a waiting list, late registration on race weekend, or race day registration.

Registration for Athletes with Disabilities (Push Rim Wheelchair, Visually Impaired, Mobility Impaired, Handcycle, and Duo Team) for the 2018 Boston Marathon opens Monday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m. ET, allowing the fastest qualifiers to register first.
Boston Marathon Qualifying Standards

To qualify for the Boston Marathon, athletes must meet time standards which correspond to age and gender. The qualifying window for the 2019 Boston Marathon opened on Saturday, September 16, 2017. John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo - NEW LOCATION FOR 2018

This year's John Hancock Sports & Fitness Expo will be located at the Seaport World Trade Center (200 Seaport Blvd. in Boston). Along with the 200+ vendors, this event will serve as the number pick-up for all official entrants in the 2018 Boston Marathon.

2017 Boston Marathon Fundraising Raises $34.2 Million

Boston Marathon participants who ran on behalf of more than 200 non-profit organizations raised $34.2 million for charity in the 121st year of the historic race. The fundraising total represents a twelve percent increase, or $3.6 million, over 2016's results.
